Diploma of Hospitality

The Diploma of Hospitality provides students with a thorough theoretical understanding of the hospitality industry, and includes specialised technical and managerial skills. These skills will generally be applied to plan, implement and evaluate the work of individuals, teams and self.

The Diploma of Hospitality qualifies graduates for a range of managerial positions throughout the hospitality industry, including Restaurant Manager in a fine dining restaurant; Kitchen Manager/Chef; Gaming manager in a club; Manager of a café or small restaurant; Motel owner/manager.

Advanced Diploma of Hospitality

The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality provides students with a thorough theoretical understanding of the hospitality industry, and includes specialised technical creative, managerial and conceptual skills. These skills will generally be applied to plan, implement and evaluate the work of individuals, teams and self, and strategically evaluate and position the enterprise or business unit to maximise efficiencies, effectiveness and profitability.

The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality qualifies graduates for a range of senior managerial and ownership positions throughout the hospitality industry, including Food and Beverage Manager in a hotel, Executive Chef, secretary Manager in a club, owner of a café or small restaurant, motel owner/manager.
