If you are in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, you may be entitled to study an Australian qualification for up to four months (check your visa conditions and/or consult a Registered Migration Agent, as your circumstances may vary).

Fees: $7,000 AUD if paid in full on commencement, or
$7,500 AUD if paid in two instalments: $4,000 AUD on commencement plus $3,500 AUD two months after commencement.

How you study

The theory components of the course including all learning resources and assessments are available 100% online, with online, phone, and email support available from specialist ICAE trainers. If you would like face-to-face support, you are always welcome to make an appointment to meet with an ICAE trainer at the ICAE training rooms. ICAE assessors will visit you in your workplace up to four times throughout the course to observe you in your workplace, and to assess that you have the skills required for the qualification. Generally, Working Holiday Visas only permit study for up to four months, so you must finish the course within four months of commencing. If you have undertaken study previously in Australia, you should take into consideration the duration of that study.

Course structure

To successfully complete this qualification, you need to be employed in a hospitality establishment where you can demonstrate all the skills required in the Diploma, and ensure that your workplace will permit an ICAE assessor to observe you on-the-job.
