Diploma of Remedial Massage (International)

Our Diploma of Remedial Massage provides the perfect platform for those looking to turn their passion for massage into an exciting career. The course covers all the necessary theoretical and practical skills required to work as a remedial massage therapist, from human anatomy and physiology to remedial massage techniques and Business skills. Students will also have the opportunity to complete a Work Placement Program, which will give them the chance to put their newly acquired skills into practice.

Duration: 52 weeks (two semester)

Semester 1: On-campus Tuition Semester
20 weeks
On-campus classes: 21 hours per week
Paid work rights: up to 24 hours per week

Semester 2: Industry Placement Semester
20 weeks
No on-campus classes during Industry Placement
Paid work rights: up to 49 hours per week

Holidays
12 weeks
Paid work rights: unlimited

Upon successful completion of the Diploma, students will be qualified to work as remedial massage therapists in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, spas, resorts or running a successful private practice . How you study

In this 52 week course you will undertake 40 weeks of the most up-to-date theory and practical training on campus.

21 units must be completed:

●  16 core units
●  5 elective units, consisting of:

○  at least 1 unit from the Business Management group below
○  up to 4 units from the electives listed below, any endorsed Training Package or
accredited course relevant to the work outcome
