The Certificate III in Commercial Cookery provides a pathway to work as a commercial cook in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
Duration: 18 – 36 months. Training and assessment are delivered on campus and at your workplace. Training and assessment material is online and available 24/7. Read more in the Course Guide which can be downloaded below.
Fees: Contact ICAE to see if you are eligible for state/federal funding which provides the course at no cost to you. If you are not eligible for government funding, courses are also offered on a fee-for-service basis.

This Certificate III in Commercial Cookery qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who use a wide range of well-developed cookery skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations to prepare food and menu items. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision using plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.
